What information about investors does the fund gather and share?

Before investing, investors must provide identification information including the investor’s name, address, telephone, social security number, employer and date of birth.  Also, so that the Fund can fulfill its obligation to confirm that an investor is an “accredited investor” (see WHO CAN INVEST IN THE ISELECT FUND?), each investor must provide information about his or her income, investment portfolio and indebtedness.  iSelect may also obtain a credit report to verify the amount of an investor’s debt in order to verify his or her net worth.

The Fund does not sell any investor’s personal information, or the fact that any individual is or may become an investor, to anyone.

Rather, iSelect uses an investor’s information primarily to complete transactions requested by the investor.  iSelect may also provide information to an investor’s financial advisor or to a tax professional for tax preparation purposes.  In addition, iSelect may use the investor’s information to tell the investor about companies that are in the iSelect Fund, to make the investor aware of other products or services that iSelect may offer now or in the future, or to provide general information about alternative or other investments.  An investor may elect not to receive such communications at any time by notifying iSelect.  For more details, investors can find iSelect’s privacy policy in its entirety on the homepage of this web site.
